Notre Dame Kylemore is hosting a Remembering Seamus Heaney Conference in collaboration with the Keough Naughton Institute for Irish Studies from April 26 to 28 2024.

Led by Professor Clíona Ní Ríordáin, Thomas J. and Kathleen M. O’Donnell Chair in Irish Language and Literature at the University of Notre Dame - together academics and poets from around the world will gather to commemorate the Irish Nobel Prize Laureate and esteemed poet Seamus Heaney.

A few of the esteemed guests and lecturers attending this gathering include free lance author and lecturer, Michael Parker, Professor Emeritus Declan Kiberd, Joanna Kruczkowska, Associate professor at the Department of British Literature and Culture from University of Lodz, Poland and distinguished poet and writer Professor Joyelle McSweeney from the University of Notre Dame's Creative Writing Program to name a few.
