Lisa Caufield
Lisa Caulfield

Lisa Caufield is Director of Notre Dame Kylemore in Connemara, Ireland. She is responsible for the establishment and transformation of this unique learning space within the famed Kylemore Abbey. In 2018, Lisa created an additional opportunity for Notre Dame students to study abroad at the National University of Galway. Lisa teaches the Immunity to Change module in the Inspirational Leadership at Kylemore program. She also is responsible for curating the interdisciplinary programs, courses, residencies and retreats hosted at ND Kylemore.


Dr. Melvin Dowdy

Dr. Melvin Dowdy is the faculty lead for Inspirational Leadership at Kylemore, a unique leadership program helping leaders improve their ability to lead in an era of ambiguity and uncertainty. Mel is the retired Executive Director for the Center for Organizational Excellence at Bons Secours Health System. He is a practicing clinical and counseling psychologist and a valued consultant and coach for senior leaders. He has developed particular interest in values-based leadership, the integral approach to leadership development, leadership spirituality, and the leader’s role in cultivating organizational conditions for ethical integrity.


Paul Slaggert

Paul Slaggert is director of Open Enrollment Programs in Executive Education at the Kelley School of Business. He recently completed 18 years in senior leadership roles in Executive Education at the University of Notre Dame, where he served as both director of non-degree programs (15 years) and director of the Stayer Center (three years). Prior to joining Notre Dame, he was director of the Cincinnati Center for Management and Executive Development at the University of Cincinnati for 12 years. He leads training sessions for corporate clients on the topics of leadership, paradigm shifts, delegation and empowerment, systems thinking, and financial literacy. He has more than 20 years of experience in academic leadership roles at Notre Dame, the University of Cincinnati, and Boston College, and has taught extensively in the areas of finance, business management, and leadership.

Bob Anderson

Bob has been a pace setter in the field of Leadership Development for over 30 years. He is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Development Officer of The Leadership Circle and the Full Circle Group, creator of The Leadership Circle Profile, a powerful 360° assessment used by organizations worldwide, and the co-author of two critically acclaimed and impactful books on leadership - Scaling Leadership and Mastering Leadership. Bob’s groundbreaking work with The Leadership Circle Profile has provided thousands of leaders with constructive feedback on their effectiveness as a leader. He is a consultant and coach to senior executives in major organizations around the world.

Alan Kerins

Alan is an elite multi-code athlete, humanitarian, social entrepreneur and philanthropist. He founded The Alan Kerins Projects in 2005 where he raised over 5 million euro directly and several more million indirectly for many vital and life saving projects and programmes for communities all over the World.

Alan has received many awards & acknowledgements for his tireless work for those less fortunate in Africa, Asia & Haiti. The Alan Kerins Projects recently partnered with Gorta Self Help Africa. As well as these charitable activities, Alan is also performance consultant, executive coach, public speaker & Trinity College graduate in physiotherapy resulting in wealth of experience in academic, business and sporting fronts.

Paul Matthews

Paul works courageously with senior leaders to enable them to approach change, tackle tough challenges and thrive. He demonstrates passion and sensitivity to operate effectively at all levels within organisations. He has been asked to plan and implement programmes including Leadership, Executive Coaching and Team Effectiveness.

Previously, Paul held management positions at a senior level in Training and Development with Scottish Widows and Abbey National.

Paul is certified in The Leadership Circle Profiling instruments. He leads certification workshops to license coaches in the use of The Leadership Circle suite of assessments and supervises newly certified coaches in their use of the tools .

He is a qualified coach, gaining that recognition from the Coaches Training Institute in 2002. Paul has also trained as an Organizational Relationship Systems Coach. In 2010, Paul graduated in the Kegan & Lahey Immunity to Change Coaching Programme (Harvard University) to become one of the first certified Immunity to Change Coaches in Europe.

Paul is based in West Cork, Ireland. He works with clients at his purpose built Centre for Leadership Development in Ireland and with clients located around the world.

Anne Nagle

Anne believes that we each have more capacity for change than we think. Her work unlocks that potential for change, thereby enabling clients deal with more complexity and greatly improve themselves, those whose lives they touch, and potentially the world. She believes deep self-awareness is the cornerstone for development and, using techniques such as Immunity to Change and Growth Edge Coaching, helps clients see and understand how they make meaning of their experiences. She provides a supportive space for individuals and teams to explore their growing edge and thereby expand their range and potential.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business Administration from University College Cork. She has been a certified Immunity to Change coach since 2010 and is a certified Growth Edge Coach. She completed CTI’s Leadership programme in 2013, trained in Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching with CRR Global in 2015, works extensively with The Leadership Circle, and completed an Executive Certificate in Polarities and Paradox at Georgetown University in 2019. Most recently, she became a Key Polarity Indicator Certified Practitioner – having completed that program with Andiron in January 2021.

Des Lally

Des has lived and worked in Connemara for over 30 years. Des received his BA in English and History and an MA in Irish Studies from NUIG. He is a PhD candidate in the English Department of NUIG, his field of research looks at the Gate Theatre Dublin and its role in Irish Modernism 1928-1945. He is co-editor of a forthcoming collection of essays on the Gate Theatre and has spoken at many academic conferences throughout Ireland, Europe and America.

Des Lally is Chairman of Clifden Arts Festival.
